CAST Camp (Waitlist)

Creative Appalachian Skills & Traditions (CAST) Camp is a fun new opportunity on Friday mornings in July to learn some skills and traditions of our heritage. Co-Sponsored by Alleghany Arts Council and Alleghany JAM!
Dates: Fridays, July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 | 9 am – 12 noon; snack provided; please provide a water bottle and plan to feed your children lunch after!
Cost: $20 per session, or $100 for all 5! $10 or $50 if you qualify for the reduced fee. Scholarships are available, and we never want money to be the barrier to access, so please ask!
Ages 9 and up!
Some skills learned include: jam making, biscuit baking, butter churning, quilting, foraging, paper making, and pottery crafting!We can’t wait to see you!
