Kate brings over 25 years of experience in education, training, leadership, operations, administration, and project management.

Kate has experience in non-profit, for-profit, grants writing, real estate operations, education, e-commerce, and general operations fields. For over a decade, she was the director of student life at the University of South Carolina Beaufort, advising, training, counseling, and mentoring college students as they grew into young adults.

She’s done it all; full-time, part-time, SAHM, spent time as a church secretary, and been a full-time work-at-home virtual assistant, all while being “Mama” to children, Zoe, Rosie, and Jonah.

Kate holds an M.Ed. in college counseling from the University of Delaware and a BA in art history from Ithaca College. She is one who used her degree in art history while working as a sales administrator for a premier auction house in New York City.

Now she’s living her dream in the tiny mountain town of Sparta, NC, and loves her position at AJAM!
