Kate brings over 25 years of experience in education, training, leadership, operations, administration, and project management.
Kate has experience in administration (both non-profit and for-profit), grant writing, real estate operations, education, e-commerce, and general operations fields. For over a decade, she was the director of student life at the University of South Carolina Beaufort, advising, training, counseling, and mentoring college students as they grew into young adults.
Workwise, she's done it all: full-time, part-time, SAHM, spent time as a church secretary, and been a full-time work-at-home virtual assistant, all while being a mother to children Zoe, Rosie, and Jonah and wife to Jody.
Kate holds an M.Ed. in college counseling from the University of Delaware and a BA in art history from Ithaca College. She used her degree in art history while working as a sales administrator for a premier auction house in New York City.
Now she’s living her dream in the tiny mountain town of Sparta, NC, and loves her position at AJAM!
